Event Description

Meet a professional astronomer, with an array of large telescopes and a precise laser pointer, to navigate the celestial sea. Learn the constellations, the dynamic dance of planets, stellar navigation, and much more. See the silent grace of satellites, shooting stars (if lucky), vibrant tapestries of nebulae, planets and star clusters in telescopes. Our meeting spot is located at the Beaver Run Resort & Conference Center (620 Village Rd, Breckenridge, CO 80424, United States) on the Imperial Deck which offers breathtaking panoramic views and easy access without the need for hiking. As the evening unfolds, you will be treated to a stunning sunset and the chance to spot local wildlife or the horse and carriage riding by. We equip you with red flashlights to preserve night vision and set up large telescopes for you to view through. We invite you to come with questions, an eager curiosity, and dressed in warm layers, as the mountain air cools after sunset. Please note, our stargazing tour is at the mercy of Mother Nature, and cloudy skies may lead to cancellations.
