A celestial journey outside of Castle Rock just north of Colorado Springs and south of Denver in Daniel's Park. Meet a professional astronomer at sunset who will introduce you to the fascinating world of astronomy. Begin with twilight telescope viewing, where you'll see the instruments we use and learn about their capabilities. Equipped with red lights (to preserve night vision), delve into an engaging astronomy talk, covering navigation, constellations, and the ever-changing night sky. As darkness falls, witness the magic through large telescopes pointed at celestial wonders: galaxies, clusters, nebulae, planets, and stars. Get detailed views in the telescopes while the astronomer provides insights, answers questions, and teaches telescope usage. After the tour, extend your stargazing experience as the astronomer packs up, ensuring a memorable and enlightening night under the cosmos.
