We're on the lookout for passionate and enthusiastic astronomer guides to lead our captivating night sky tours. As we gear up for a bustling 2024 season, we need dedicated individuals to help us share the wonders of the cosmos with our guests.

Who We're Looking For:

We're calling all stargazers, night owls, and astronomy aficionados! If you've got a knack for storytelling and a passion for the stars, we want you on our team.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Dependability: We need team members who are as reliable as Polaris in the night sky.

  • Astronomical Acumen: Familiarity with the night sky is helpful (don't worry, we'll train you!).

  • Driving Proficiency: You must have a valid driver's license and be comfortable navigating mountain roads by night.

  • Physical Readiness: Ability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 55lbs is a must.

  • Public Speaking: Confidence and clarity in presenting to groups of all sizes.

  • Interpersonal Skills: A love for sharing complex astronomical concepts in an engaging way with a diverse audience.

Desirable Qualities:

  • Cultural Astronomy Insight: Knowledge of astronomy folklore, including mythology, astrology, and indigenous star narratives, is a plus.

  • Safety Savvy: CPR and First Aid certifications are highly regarded.

  • Local Lore: Familiarity with Colorado's natural and cultural heritage will enhance the tour experience.

  • Tourism Background: Previous experience in travel or tour guiding will set you apart.
