AstroTours Returns to Breckenridge: 2026 Stargazing Tours at Beaver Run Resort

AstroTours is returning to Breckenridge with a new series of public stargazing tours at Beaver Run Resort. Beginning August 19, 2026, visitors and locals will once again be able to explore Colorado's night sky with an AstroTours astronomer in the heart of Breckenridge.

Public tour tickets start at $57, with 12 programs scheduled from August through December.

Stargazing in Breckenridge is back

Breckenridge is spectacular during the day, but the experience does not have to end when the sun goes down. Away from the brightest city lights, the mountain sky opens into a view filled with stars, constellations, planets, and other celestial sights that change throughout the season.

AstroTours makes that sky approachable. Each Breckenridge Dark Sky Tour is a guided astronomy experience designed for curious first-time stargazers, families, couples, and experienced skywatchers alike. Guests can look through telescopes, learn how to find their way around the night sky, and discover the science and stories behind what is visible that evening. No previous astronomy knowledge is needed.

The returning public programs will continue to take place at Beaver Run Resort, offering a convenient Breckenridge location for an evening under the stars.

2026 Breckenridge stargazing tour dates

Tour start times become earlier as sunset shifts through fall and winter. All dates and times below are in Breckenridge local time.

  • Monday, August 31 at 8:30 pm

  • Tuesday, September 8 at 8:00 pm

  • Wednesday, September 16 at 8:00 pm

  • Monday, October 19 at 7:00 pm

  • Friday, October 30 at 7:00 pm

  • Monday, November 9 at 5:30 pm

  • Wednesday, November 18 at 5:30 pm

  • Saturday, November 28 at 5:30 pm

  • Monday, November 30 at 5:30 pm

  • Friday, December 18 at 5:30 pm

  • Monday, December 28 at 5:30 pm

Tickets start at $57. Advance reservations are recommended.
